2022 March Madness Betting Guide: Final Four Odds, Tips & Predictions

Mar 31, 2022 4:41 PM

It’s bluebloods only and narratives galore with a TV executive’s dream group of national championship contenders entering this weekend’s Final Four action in New Orleans.

No. 1 Kansas is the lone top seed of the group, but No. 2 Duke is currently the betting favorite at top sportsbooks, with +160 odds to cut down the nets in the Big Easy. The Jayhawks are now second on the March Madness board at +180, while the Jayhawks’ opponent - No. 2 Villanova – is third with college basketball futures odds of +450.

No. 8 North Carolina rounds out the board with +500 odds to upset the Blue Devils again and eventually get it done in Monday’s national title game.

Team Odds

Final Four Favorites

While Kansas was the overall betting favorite entering the Elite Eight, those college basketball odds have flipped with Duke now leading the charge at +160 and Kansas second at +180.

The Blue Devils have been crushing it on betting apps all month, covering three straight games leading into Saturday’s Final Four matchup with North Carolina.

Duke is a -4 favorite in what will certainly be coach Mike Krzyzewski’s final game against the Tar Heels. It’s an insane turn of events for both teams after North Carolina upset Duke in Krzyzewski’s final game at Cameron Indoor – in what then was presumably his last game against the bitter rival. Now the stars have aligned for an epic rematch in New Orleans with a shot at the National Championship on the line.

The Jayhawks, meanwhile, quietly rolled through Providence and Miami to get back to the biggest stage in college hoops. Kansas has been billed as a serious title contender all season, even more so than Duke and No. 2 Villanova. Bill Self’s squad has been mostly drama-free and doesn’t play down to its competition – of the Jayhawks’ six losses, five came against NCAA Tournament teams – including three teams seeded third or better.

Everyone is talking about Krzyzewski and Duke going into the weekend. But with star guard Ochai Agbaji leading the charge and the most impressive resume top-to-bottom, Kansas is the more sensible pick at +180 odds to win it all.

Final Four Underdogs

Villanova isn’t technically an underdog as a No. 2 seed, but you wouldn’t know it after the past few weeks. The Wildcats shut down a red-hot Houston in the Elite Eight with most expecting the Cougars to get it done and reach the Final Four for the second year in a row.

Villanova was a popular pick last year before star guard Collin Gillespie went down with a season-ending injury ahead of the tournament. Now Gillespie is back and doing his thing alongside standout forward Jermaine Samuels, and Villanova is just one win away from another national championship appearance. The problem is this is the most skilled and dangerous opponent Villanova has seen this month. Maybe by a lot. We don’t see Villanova making it ugly enough to get past Kansas in the semifinals.

North Carolina is the more intriguing dog – the No. 8 Tar Heels are playing more like a No. 1 seed and crushed No. 15 Saint Peter's dreams in ruthless fashion during a 20-point Elite Eight win. They also put on a ridiculous offensive onslaught to pull away from UCLA in the Sweet 16.

The Tar Heels already crushed Duke’s dreams once in the final game of the regular season. They’re +4 underdogs for the rubber match after Duke beat them by 20 in Chapel Hill. This is one of the most anticipated Final Four matchups of all time and could go either way. Whatever happens, it’s going to be a serious challenge for the winning team to regroup and come back just as strong 48 hours later in a potential title game matchup with Kansas. That’s another reason we like the Jayhawks to come out on top in the end.

March Madness Saint Peter's vs North Carolina & Kansas vs Miami Elite Eight Picks

Mar 31, 2022 4:40 PM

It’s time to fill out the Final Four in New Orleans, with two remaining Elite Eight matchups for Sunday’s college basketball betting action in what has already been a wild month of madness.

No. 1 Kansas is the last remaining top seed, with the Jayhawks favored by -5.5 over No. 10 Miami. The last regional final has No. 15 Saint Peters looking to continue its dream run – the Peacocks will be a +8.5 underdog against No. 8 North Carolina.

Sunday's College Basketball Betting Lines To Back

Miami +5.5 over Kansas

Can the Hurricanes do it again? Having already knocked off No. 1-seeded Auburn, Miami now takes on the last top seed left in the tournament. Kansas handled its business against Providence in solid but unspectacular fashion as the Jayhawks look to make it back to the Final Four for the first time since 2018. We expect Kansas to get it done in a close matchup.

The Hurricanes are excellent on the offensive end with enough size to match up. They’ve also covered every tournament game and are now 10-3 against the spread over the last 13 games. Kansas had a significant early lead against Providence and couldn’t put the Friars away until the end. We’ll take the points here. We’re on Miami +5.5.

North Carolina -8.5 over Saint Peter's

The Peacocks have already secured the greatest March run of all time for a No. 15 seed. Sadly, this looks like the end of the road for Saint Peter's. The Tar Heels are playing as well as anyone left in the Big Dance and can turn on the offense in a hurry, as we saw with a ridiculous onslaught at the end of the UCLA game and in overtime against Baylor.

We love this Saint Peter's team but after three emotionally-charged upset wins, hanging with the Tar Heels for 40 minutes after a back-and-forth battle with Purdue seems like too much to ask. We’re on North Carolina -8.5.

March Madness Sweet 16 Odds & Picks For Friday, March 25

Mar 31, 2022 4:38 PM

Gonzaga and Arizona are heading home and suddenly Kansas is the last No. 1 seed left standing for college basketball betting action ahead of tonight’s Midwest and East region Sweet 16 Matchups.

The No. 1 Jayhawks take on No. 4 Providence tonight, with the Jayhawks -7 favorites. We’ve also got our eyes on No. 4 UCLA as a -2 favorite over No. 8 North Carolina and No. 10 Miami as a -3 favorite over No. 11 Iowa State.

Friday’s College Basketball Betting Lines To Back

Kansas -7 over Providence

We were leaning Providence +7.5 early in the week, but Kansas is available without the hook now and we think it’s a good number for the Jayhawks. The Friars caught a massive break with Richmond taking out Iowa.

To their credit, they took advantage with a 79-51 win. But they caught a few lucky bounces in that game too. Richmond shot just 1 of 22 from 3-point range while Providence went scorched earth and hit 12 of 22 from downtown. That won’t happen against Kansas’ defense. Providence is a strong defensive team that excels on the perimeter, but Kansas isn’t reliant on the 3-point shot.

This is a balanced offensive team that can get to the rack, hitting 19 of 20 free throws in a second-round win over Creighton. Providence could struggle to keep up. We’re on Kansas -7 over Providence.

North Carolina +2.5 over UCLA

While we flipped our first pick from earlier in the week, we’ve been locked in on this one. North Carolina was incredibly impressive in wins over Marquette and No. 1 Baylor. No one seems to know how to handle the Tar Heels’ offense when it’s going like this, scoring 93 points or more in three of the last five games.

They needed overtime to do it against Baylor after blowing a 25-point lead, but we actually think the composure to regroup and drop the hammer in OT is a positive sign moving forward. UCLA will try to slow it down and make it ugly. That’s a tall order tonight. We’re on North Carolina +2.5.

Miami -3 over Iowa State

We can’t trust the Cyclones in this spot. The defense has been very impressive, no doubt. The point totals are alarming. Iowa State has been held under 60 points in four of the last five games, a stretch that includes a 53-36 loss to Oklahoma State and a 72-41 loss to Texas Tech. Credit Iowa State for making it work with tough wins over LSU and Wisconsin, but the 3-point numbers suggest they got away with a couple.

LSU shot just 4 of 19 from deep while the Cyclones were 12 of 37 – yes, they hit 12 threes and still scored just 59 points. The Badgers were even colder than LSU and hit just 2 of 22 from deep. The Hurricanes don’t overly-rely on the three, they have size and they can rip off quick scoring runs at any time. Iowa State is in deep trouble if it falls behind by a few possessions at any point. We’re on Miami -3.

FanDuel Promo Code Eye-Catching Offer: Bet $5, Get $150 On NCAA Tournament

Apr 20, 2022 2:48 PM

The remaining teams are ready to battle it out in the next stage of the NCAA Tournament, and the FanDuel promo code offer gives college basketball fans a chance to jump in on the action. The can’t-lose introductory offer allows new customers to wager just $5 in order to get $150 in free bets to play on the Big Dance.

It couldn’t be any more straightforward: A $5 bet on an NCAA Tournament team gets you $150 in house money - and it doesn't matter if your team wins or loses!

March Madness betting is well-known for its big upsets - and big payouts - so the FanDuel promo code offer for new customers could really turn into some serious money.

How To Sign Up For The FanDuel Promo Code 30-1 Odds Offer

To get in on this great deal, new customers just need to click on the link on this page, part with some normal personal information and make a minimum $10 deposit into your account. The FanDuel promo code is activated automatically.

Then, just make a $5 real-money wager on a team to win a March Madness game, and you automatically will receive $150 site credits when the game is over. It doesn’t matter the outcome of the game. You get the $150 to bet any way you want, with no odds restrictions, within 14 days.

With other sportsbook promo codes, you only get a reward if your first bet loses. Not at FanDuel. A market leader in sports betting apps, FanDuel gives you a reward regardless of whether your first wager wins or loses. And, that first wager only needs to be $5.

You can easily win more than once. If your team wins on that $5 bet, you will receive your stake back, plus the profits based on the FanDuel market odds on the game. You can then withdraw that cash straight to your bank account, with just a click of a button.

If the first bet loses? Doesn’t matter. You still have a $150 in site credits to play any way you want within 14 days, thanks to the FanDuel promo code offer.

While other betting sites require you to play free bets more than once to get any serious profits, it’s not the case here. Just play the $150 one time, and any profits from a successful bet are yours to keep.

Keep in mind: only the profits from a successful free bet are withdrawable, and you can’t cash out until the game has fully been played.

Scouting The Sweet 16 Odds With FanDuel Promo Code

As the Sweet 16 was about to get underway on Thursday, the Gonzaga Bulldogs remained the favorites to win it all, at odds of +240 at FanDuel. That means, a successful $150 free bet on them would pay a $360 profit - which you could then immediately withdraw to you bank account.

The Kansas Jayhawks were the second-best favorite, at +500 odds. A successful $150 free bet on Kansas would pay you a cool $750 in profit.

All this would cost you, in real money, is that first $5 bet. Imagine how fun it’ll be having $150 in site credits to bet on the eventual tournament winner? Win or lose, it won’t cost you any of your own money.

That’s why the FanDuel promo code offer of 30-1 odds March Madness deal is one of the best introductory deals we’ve seen out there.
